Has anyone had to repair or replace the drag link on a B7500? Mine has stripped the castle nut off and I'm wondering if there is an aftermarket or suitable repair/replacement for just the end. Any suggestions would be welcome. Love my Bota but this is the only weak spot i've found in 8 years

I have a 2005 B7510 and also had to replace the draglink and pitman arm Due to the nut on the drag link stripping and causing the end to loosen and cause the pitman arm hole to become oblong. I don't know if the nuts are soft or what but this tractor runs on turf tires on gravel moving boats. Nothing else was seen to be damaged so I do not believe it was forced, and the tractor had never been apart so the nut, cotter pin and torque were all from the factory. I keep a close eye on the replacement (also Kubota parts) and it seems to be fine now.

My 03 B7500 did the same thing. I didn't notice the oblong hole in the pitman arm til the castle nut came off. It came off with enough force that it ripped the threads and the cotter pin. I thought it was due to all the logs I was moving with the forks. I know it was a pain to remove all the panels to get at the steering box. I've noticed the new style steering rack on my new B3030 puts a lot less stress on the linkage.
