Hi. New person here. I have a B7100 and from doing a search here it seems the B7100 is known for overheating due to needing to clean the radiator and screen. This is especially true with our current high temps and very tall grass I have right now here in Ohio. I also feel that I have a bad radiator cap and want to replace it. My current cap is not a Kubota cap so I'm not sure it is the correct pressure rating. Would appreciate if someone could post the correct pressure rating.

Thanks, Bob

I'm not sure off hand. You could always take it to a Kubota dealer... let them test it to see if it's bad (free and quick to do) and find out what the correct pressure cap should be.

I called my nearest dealer, about 30 miles away. They have new caps in stock but he is unable to determine the pressure rating. According to him the cap isn't marked nor is it in his parts book. My current cap is about 10 years old and I noticed a rubber seal or gromet inside the pressure spring part of the cap is broken apart.

Check with any automotive store. They should be able to get you a cap with the model number of the tractor. I was told once that the pressure is 5#. Don't know for sure if this is correct or not.
