The shop manual doesn't help, the dealer is too expensive, lol.

The bearing(s) are shot and burnt up my new belt, I need to get it off so I can replace the bearings.

Not sure if it pulls off from the front, or unbolts from the engine and what I need to get the bearings off, (gear puller, bare hands?)

Same with reassembly.

If I get it off safely I can take it to Berry Bearing to get the right new bearings, just not to that point yet.

Thanks

:)

To remove the dynamo:

Remove the radiator and the oil cooler. Not very hard.

This gives you access to the font of the engine block.

The casting holding the dynamo is easily removed if you bend a wrench to fit for the one nasty bolt. Others have used a ratcheting box end with good results.

Seeing as I have done this job with success it should not be to difficult.:D :D

So are the bearings easy to get off the shaft? How about putting them back on, is a press needed or is it a simple slide on fit?

thanks
