B6000 snow blower

I am looking for a B6000 snow blower and the associated hardware to hook up to the tractor, Brackets, PTO, hydraulic lift, etc.
Any thoughts on who may have one?

I assume that you are looking for a snowblower for a B6000 Kubota tractor? It would help if you filled out your profile. Someone might have one, but be on the opposite side of the world from you, so it would be of no use. It would also help if you were to determine the model number of the snowblower that you are looking for, because it might fit more than just the B6000 tractor.

Thanks for the note, I completed Bio.

Yup, B6ooo Kubota tractor (Actually a B6000e).

I'll call my Kubota guy tomorrow to get the model number of the blower.

Would really like to get my hands on one. I had a chance last year and blew it.

I've got the Tiller, finish Mower, Loader, York rake (generic), and I frame mounted a backhoe (hoe was scratch build by a buddy as a towable backhoe, I built a frame for it and mounted to my Kubota).

Love my little tractor, trying to finish the collection of implements, as you know, with the CCW spinnning PTO finding the original attachments is a challenge. And with the age of the machine, finding the blower will probably be tough too.

I was doing some research on this model and came across this information concerning the ROPS that will fit this tractor. Apparently it is considered a Grey Market Tractor and as such doesn't conform to US standards. If yours doesn't have the ROPS, here is a good chance to buy one from Kubota at a discount.... web page

They buy used tractors and equipment from dealers from all over the country and sell on E-Bay and locally. I got a canopy from them and went to York, PA to pick it up. They have a huge lot with all kinds of used tractors, with stuff coming in all the time. Give them a call and see if they have what you are looking for, if not, they will keep an eye out for the blower and let you know.

Junkman - again thanks, Not sure if this is grey market or not? It's got the PTO protective shield, I understand most grey's don't. I have all manuals and Kubota stocks just about all of the parts. It's got the traditional AG tires rather than rice patty lugs.

Anyway, gets ROPS would always be a good thing, particularly considering I've got the backhoe set up, as we all know the loader can get you in trouble quick.

My quest for the blower goes on.

Based on Kubota's website, ROPS is not available for the B6000 along with many other earlier models.

the b6000 isnt always a grey market
some units are but most are built for the USA but imported from japan
they are old - around 30 years old and were all imported from japan even if they were for a USA/UK market

i would be interested to know about the implemets you run on the b6000 as i have just got one myself

What you say is true, mine has the PTO shield. There are a number of tractors Kubota made for which they don't offer ROPS. I can get all parts easily at Kubota Dealer.

I have the three point finish mower, I have the tiller, I have a york rake, I have the loader and I have a frame mount backhoe (not the B-609 original equipment version).

Great little tractor, size is perfect for me and with the hoe, I have tons of traction, even though mine is the E 2 wheel drive.

A friend of mine ordered the ROPS for his B6000. It came in and I picked it up for him yesterday. the ROPs supplied by Kubota is manufactured by Femco (www.femcomfg.com), but it does not have any instructions at all. It looks like it should bolt to a PTO shaft cover, but his tractor has no PTO shaft cover. Does anyone have a picture of the PTO shaft cover? It looks like we are going to end up making an adapter from angle steel to bolt his ROPS to his tractor where the PTO cover should have been.

Overall, the ROPS looks very nice, but it has no instruction sheet, and Femco's website is only slightly more handy than useless.

Hi There,
I'll try to shoot a picture within the next day or so, I'll have to pull her out of the garage.

I spoke to Kubota, not sure why the website sais what it does, but as you all know you are correct, $148 promotional price for ROPS, I'll definately buy.

I run into the converters once in a while, primarily in UK, however, for what ever reason their B6000's have 18 spline PTO rather than the 31/32 10 spline.

Would love to get my hands on a PTO reverser.
