B3350SU vs L3301 vs L3901

I'll have to look into that for next winter.

I'd looked at the L also when I was shopping, never did think about chains. I did notice that my B has a much more complete floor which was a consideration for a future cab. Not sure about the newer 01 L series, but on the L3200 and L3800 I really don't like how the tie rod is exposed out in front of the axle. I've managed to pretzel one on the B3300 with its tighter mounting. Pretty sure I'd have taken out more than one on the Ls

The 00 & 01s are the same except for the Tier 4 emissions stuff & probably a smoother 3pt.

The 01 models also got a new seat, new throttle lever, and new instrument panel

The owner of our L3400 did lots of mods to it, all good! He added a set of rear remotes, and replaced the original loader bucket with SSQA, all stuff I needed for my snow plow. Plus he the extendable links to replace the turnbuckles. All I had to do was add some rear wheel spacers and tire chains, and it's good to go! He did a nice job in cutting and welding the SSQA hardware, I have to say, but he never told me what was involved. I will always have SSQA if I change tractors- too useful to not have it.
