Your concern on the bolts is a good one about the threads. These bolts are in a location that there is no movement -- fixed part of the loader frame, not a pivot.

None the less, I used either 8" or 10" bolts (can't remember which) that had exactly the right amount of smooth shank to go clear thru the loader frame with the threads starting under the lock washer and I cut off the excess thread past the nut. I'd be skeptical about the copper pipe sleeve as I'd guess the copper to be too soft to take the abuse -- and I see no need for it with proper size bolts.

Before I replaced the pins, I'd zip-tied them in place as even the sliding-pin-handle-thing in the stock ones would vibrate something fierce. Knowing that I never plan on removing the loader frame, I didn't explore other options than replacing them with bolts. I accept that this method wouldn't be a reasonable option for someone that wants to remove the loader often.

I'd thought about the wave washers for the ROPS pins but the belleville washers look like a better option -- I'd never heard of them before, thanks for that.
