New B3030HSDC and new RC72-30B mid mount mower. Curious what range others have paid...

Figure around mid $22K. I got mine last year as you want yours equipped and with FEL it was upper $24K range. Was real nice having a bug free mow season and airconditioning.

Local dealer had one for 16990 without a mower or FEL. Said the front end loader was 3k. Not sure about the mower.

I just closed a deal for a B3030HSDC with LA 403 FEL with quick detach bucket option, RC72-30B 72" MMM, R4 tires, and 60" Woods Bush Hog for $24000 + tax after Kubota $500 instant rebate. I'll do the AM/FM CD with XM radio in the aftermarket.

yes, factory cab....instant rebate made the difference to get me to pull the trigger...that and the temperature was 90 degrees.....that cab a/c works really well

I have a B3030 HSDC, its a great tractor all around. The heat & AC are very strong, the cab is nice and quiet and i love the remote loader control. Good luck with your 3030, i hope you enjoy it as much as i do, Scott.

Thanks for the encouragement. I hope you don't mind if I ask a few questions after I get it delivered. This is my first "real" tractor and I am a complete novice. First two questions before delivery, if you don't mind: You said "remote control" for the loader. The one in the cab or is there another they didn't tell me about? Anything I should ask for that I may need and don't know about?

The remote control replaces the standard kubota joystick, the front of the cab would be be in conflict with the joystick. If you are sitting in the cab the remote is a few inches in front of the right armrest, i can rest my arm and run the loader at the same time! Some people hate it because it does restrict access through the right door, no big deal for me as i always enter through the drivers side. There is a photo of the set up here somewhere, try a search, i think it was posted by jillbota>

Thanks, I saw that control. I assumed it was the same as the joystick which was downsized and moved, which you have confirmed. I thought maybe it was another control that you could operate from outside the cab on the ground, for another implement. BTW, how tall is this puppy? Will it fit in a standard car garage or is it a bit too tall?

My understanding (not owning one) is it just about exactly 7 feet or 84 inches tall. It will thus not clear a standard garage door.

Thanks for the advice, but my dealer delivered mine today. I tried (with my wife as lookout) to put it in the garage. It went in with room to spare (not much). With 403 FEL and Woods 5 ft BH, it fit front to back as well. We just bought the house and I think the garage may be deeper than normal, but I think maybe it is normal height. But I could be wrong, it's happened before.

Please measure the actual height and let us know . I believe the height can very based on the tire type to. What type of tires did you order with it?

I didn't order it, it was on the lot. It has R4's. I don't know if Kobuta has more than one type available. I know that Deere has two types of R4's available. I will measure it today and let you know. We don't live at the new house yet, so I wanted it in someplace I can lock. I was lucky that it fit.

By type of tire I meant (Turf, Industrial or Ag). Some are taller than others. I believe the Turf tires are the tallest. Different tires will change the height of the tractor.

R4's are the Industrial tread tires and that it what it has. I measured it yesterday and from the garage floor (concrete) to the top of the yellow marker lights it is 83". The radio antenna stands about another 3 inches taller, but it is flexible rubber. My new garage must be larger than average since the radio antenna didn't touch either as I drove it into the garage.
