After much research I have decided on a B3030. I have price quote of 16,900 on a 3030 with L403. 1450 on a 60" Woods RFM.

Is that a good price, or should I be able to do better?

Ok, after checking around it seems he is giving me a good deal. I told him I would take the tractor if he would throw in a 60" bucket (he showed me a 54") with a toothbar and a couple of hooks.

He seems willing but he said Kubota does not make a toothbar for the 60". He is looking around to see if he can find a after maket toothbar, or adapt another size. Can anyone give me any quick suggestions for an aftermarket bar for this bucket?

Deal is done. He found a bar. I'll post pictures when I get it.

Easy - Woods and ATI both make them for 60". I have ATI removable (bolt-on) for mine, considered one of the best. Purchased outright would run you around $325.

Still waiting on that phone call. We made the deal late yesterday, and he has to change tires, change buckets, and add toothbar and hooks. I'm hoping to hear from him soon.

That's a great deal!! I bought a B3030 on 7/27/06. 4 WD tractor with folding ROPS 13200, 403 loader 3200, 72MMM 2800, landpride BB 1560 575, rear work light 60, totaled at 19835. Sounds as though you did a touch better. Recently landpride RB1572, however I wish I would have schooled up on the features, I need to do a little fabricating for a gauge wheel. Good luck sounds great!

It's here. I'll try to post pictures - never done that before. I love it. The only thing is the salesman apparantly did not know what a toothbar is. He had them attach a removeable cutting edge like you see on larger loaders. Basically it just saves the original edge from wear. It is also reversable, so when one side wears down you just turn it around. I'll try it for a while - probably add a toothbar later.

Well I got to play with it about an hour. Had to put it up - its my anniversary. One full year of wedded bliss...out of twenty-eight! I better pay some attention to the better half tonight or I'll be sleeping with the tractor.

That brings me to another thought. I wouldn't have to widen the front door very much to get it in the house.

Unfortunately that bolt on cutting edge is going to complicate getting a toothbar to fit. I suppose you can just remove the cutting edge but most bolt on toothbars are not compatable with the bolt on cutting edges.

I must say, you got a great deal but the salesman is out to lunch if he doesn't know the difference between a toothbar and a cutting edge. What planet is he from?

By the way, nice tractor. Very nice. Too bad the bucket isn't black ;). (As you are new here I will just hint that there is another orange tractor company with different colored buckets:D .

Lil Country,

You"re going to have a great time with that machine. Try not to keep a smile on your face while operating. It's supposed to look like you're working.....

That's an amazing price! I was just quoted 20500 for the same thing here in North Idaho. That's worth driving to Oklahoma for. Mind telling the name of the dealer?
