I'll tell you a way to check,put a set of jumper cables from your truck or car onto your tractor battery and see if your tractor starts, this should give you the extra boost you need and see if it starts.

Have tried that several times and still all I got was the rapid clicking with about a 1/4 turn of the engine one time in a total time of about 30 minutes trying to jump from truck.

I think the kits worth a try,have you a battery charger.put the battery on the charger for a few hours ,

Did you check the saftey switch under tractor yet....it sounds like yours is doing exactly what mine was doing?

I get this all the time. The issue is the HST peddle does not go to neutral after you are going in reverse (possibly forward as well but always reverse for me). When you get off, the tractor thinks it is trying to move with no one in the seat and shuts itself off. Just tap the HST peddle to bring it to neutral and it will start right up.

It took two trips back to the dealership to get my problem resolved. From what I was told, there's a little too much "play" in the design of the rocker part of the forward/reverse pedal. Over time, it gets a bit gunked up in there, starts to stick in spots and then eventually causes the safety switch to short out...or something along those lines.
It got to the point where tapping the pedal back and forth would not get it started or keep it from stalling if I went to get up from the seat. There was one day where I spent over 3 hours in the seat plowing snow knowing that if I got up, the tractor was dead in it's tracks. It was after that that I finally made the call to the dealer to come pick it up.
From other somewhat similar posts I've seen on here, it seems to be a bit of a kubota design flaw, not that they'd ever admit it.
I've had it back for about 2 months now and so far so good. If it happens again, I think the safety hst switch will get permanently bypassed. I don't need to spend another $330 repair for a tractor that's not even paid off yet.

I had the same problem with my kubota b2920, thanks to you its fixed for now, it was the foot pedal

Tractor not starting, a week ago it would start every time. Parked it a week ago and today it just makes a clicking sound and the engine does not even turn over. I hooked my truck up to it and still all it would do was make clicking sound, but a half or third of a turn of the engine once or twice in an hour of working with it. Hooked up a battery charge and let it charge all day, only a clicking sound for about 2 minutes and then nothing, even the glow plug lights and others that come on when you turn the key would not ever light up. Does anyone know what can be happening, is it the battery or something else.

I have had this very same issue...drove me nuts! Thanks to this thread and others I figured it out. It was the HST pedal that moves the tractor forward and backward. The pedal gets very sticky and does not return back to the neutral position. I moved the pedal and the tractor started. Thanks to everyone who posted about this issue. You saved me money, time and additional frustration. Hope I can help someone else with this post.

On my B3030 there's a grease zerk under the tractor for the pedal's linkage. You are suppose to give it a shot of grease every 50 hours. The ones on the BX-25's are tougher to find. They are under the floor mat.
