Kubota B2710
Hello all, just bought a B2710 with FEL and 364 hrs. Dealer put new motor in it so it has about 10 hours. Previous owner put it in his pond. I paid $12,700 and it looks like brand new. Has R4 tires, 60" bucket, and like I said, it's like new. It seems to be a good price but was wondering if anyone had any other thoughts.
Thanks for any input...

Welcome to the forum. I am also a new Kubota owner and forum member much like yourself. I have found this forum to have lots of good information so am sure someone lurking will be able to help you out.

PS: I hope Kubota's are not attracted to ponds as I have one in the back of my property..... Somehow I think fishing it out just would not be all that much fun.

Check all fluids and grease fittings for signs of contamination.

If you have time you may want to check out the wiring harnesses and connections also.

Brings back memories of a past poster (Several months ago) who posted a question related to putting his tractor into his pond...but did not share the "how he did it" part...

Perhaps you are the new owner of said tractor... /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Only advice I can think to give is...

Don't put it in your pond!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

AND...Enjoy working with your new friend , who will soon prove to be the hardest worker on your homestead... /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks for the input. This tractor has already saved me alot of time and back pain. I have also learned quite a bit by searching the forum. I plan on being a frequent visitor to this site.
Thanks again!!

Actually, with the block heater and some creek stone, you can have a very nice Koi pond.
