You might change the oil light sending unit. After reading your last posts, if the sending unit did not cure the problem, I don't think that you have a problem that will cause a premature failure in the future. You are doing everything correctly.

Yes, the filter will drain back into the engine. The pump pulls oil from the pan through a pickup screen then pumps it through the filter and out to the engine, the oil pressure switch is the last thing to get oil pressure in your engine. 65 psi, is that at idle or full throttle? 5 seconds seems a little long to me, but if the rep cleared it and you have documentation..

I'm curious what everybody else is seeing after sitting for a few days.

My B2710 had not been started since before Thanksgiving until 2 days ago, and it might have taken the oil light 2 seconds to go out after it started, but I think it was closer to one.
