Thanks!Whenever I need the seat safety switch to stay quiet (particularly when mowing fields on hot days when I like to stand up to relieve my butt for a few go-rounds) I use my trusty bungee cords strapped across the back of the seat [to the ROPS] to keep the seat in place. Works fine on my B2650 so should work on a B2601. BTW several bungee cords strapped on the ROPS in back and the brush guard in front are handy and always seem to be used for one thing or another - for example keeping the top-link up and away from banging against the PTO cover when no implement is on the three-point.
