My rear brake lights don't work any more. The bulbs are ok but I can't find the switch that must operate them near the brake pedal. Does anyone know where it is located?

I don't believe the 2400 has brake lights. Check the bulbs/ sockets and I think you"ll find they are single element and thus only running lights.

As B2400 says; pull a bulb and see if it is single filament. I have heard Euro spec tractors require horn as well as brake lights, but I am not sure. I have read that lots of folks in Europe drive tractors to local markets, something that most Americans don't do as they will get run over by our poorly trained drivers.

Nope, my B2400 doesn't have brake lights. All you need in the States, or Texas at least, is a Slow Moving Vehicle triangle and hazard flashers to run on the road. Bear in mind that "the road" for the most part is a farm-to-market county road that doesn't have a lot of traffic. If we're moving it any distance or on busier roads we tend to trailer them for the most part.

I had a longer look today and found the switch on the other side from the brake pedals. It was broken so will need replacing. I also have a horn fitted, which is pretty standard for kit over here in UK. (This is a small crowded island after all!) Interestingly on my G1900 I recently found a horn, under the rear cover, but I don't think there is a switch fitted to operate it!

Sorry, I didn't pay attention to your location!! I didn't realize UK spec tractors were different in that way. Mine does have the horn button built into the flasher switch though! Just didn't bother to install the horn! Me just got smarter!!!!
