B2320 HST Noise

There are a lot of reports of chattering/ratcheting/clattering relief valve type noise on the 20 series. There was a thread here recently, (which I cannot find right now) that discussed this, with a host of guys reporting a similar noise.

No one has ever gotten back with a report of taking it to their dealer to be evaluated/repaired, however, FWIW.

The sound on the video is the exact noise I'm talking about except mine only seems to do it under load. I noticed in the thread that you were experiencing a similar noise and said it was fixed by repositioning and lubricating the boot. Are you still noise free even under load? I'm surprised no one has reported of a cause or better yet a fix because it apears to be a prevalent complaint.

Actually, the boot issue is a separate noise and that can be conquered. The noise, of what may be the relief valve making a racket is different. Mine still clatters very badly when I push it. Well, let me re-phrase. Long before I actually push it. Neither more time nor doing the 50 hour service have made any difference. I'm just flat too busy this time of year to deal with.
