B2320/2620

I purchased my B2320 two years ago. I mainly use it for tilling, moving wood and driveway maintenence. So far I have yet to need more power as I run out of traction first. If you can get the B2620 for a few hundred more I'd go for it but when I bought mine it wasn't worth it to me to spend the difference. Both are very nice machines.

Yes, I am am now biased to the b2320:D, but when I was shopping it was an issue of paying for more money every month for capacity and size I did not need. (I don't use any pto implements) I often blur the line between I want it and I need it:D In my year and a half of ownership I have not missed the extra two inches of loader bucket width or 181 pounds of lift capacity. Good luck with your purchase. You will not be disappointed with any of the B2x20 series.

Great advice from all. (as usual). Thank you

Good point brought up. Can the larger loader be had on the 2320. With similar hyd pumps, i would think it would come down to better performance from larger hyd cylinders on the shlightly larger loader and of course if the larger loader will fit on the 2320

If you do a search I believe you will find a member that said his dealer was willing to put the bigger loader on a b2320, But since Kubota does not spec for that tractor you could run into warranty problems down the road. The bigger loader lifts more but its cycle times are slower. If you want the bigger loader I would spend the extra 800.00 and go with the b2620.

I've read that post as well before I bought my B2620. When I asked my dealer about it, they seemed to think the LA346 wouldn't work on the B2320 though (although I got the impression they also weren't sure as they probably never tried installing that loader on a B2320 before.)

I ended up going with the B2620 in the end since they had that in stock and they were still waiting on B2320's to arrive from Kubota. Also, I want to say that the difference in price I believe was closer to $1k though (but I can't remember exactly since we went back and forth on the numbers quite a bit after all the options I kept adding on.)

Either way, I think you can't go wrong with either tractor.

... Kubota is known for having a mind-boggling array of models with minutia in differentiation. Some say far too many. Shrug. ...

.

Ain't that the truth. I brought that up to the GM of the dealer I was buying my new tractor from. He shrugged and laughed at the same time. He said that when his dad ran the business and a customer came in asking for a 50 hp tractor, his dad took him and showed the customer that one model. If the customer changed his mind and decided he wanted a 70 hp tractor instead, his dad would take him to that one model.

Some of the model differentiations seem kinda silly. Then again, I'm glad they decided to come out with the B3300 since it bridges the gap between the L series (which would be overkill and clumsy for my needs in the woods) and the "standard" B series (which would have been OK but the 3300 is just a little more in some regards).

I considered the 2620 but the dealer talked me into the 2920 for about $600 more - or $10 per month on the Zero / 60 month deal. I guess I've never said "Darn it, I got too much power here."

My 2920 runs a 63" front mount blower with ease and I have yet to try the loader as I purchased in December.

Just my thoughts...............
