B21. Runs cool?

My recent B21 seems to never heat up to where I think it should.

At first I thought the gauge must be bad, but that's not so, it just never seem to get "hot"

Previous owner says it has always run cool, from the factory. But I bought a new
thermostat anyway. Not in yet, too cold outside.

Opinions?

It takes a long time for the temp gauge to register any amount of heat. They certainly don't get "hot" when they run so I would categorize them as cool running, I suppose. There is more about the B21 on one of my web pages. B21

Thanks. I had run across your page while researching the B21. One of the things that helped me decide it would be a good choice for me.
