I am going to make a run at the dealer on a B21HSD with a TL421 loader and BT751 backhoe. Anyone have a good guess on how far my eye's will roll back or comments on this package.

Al_Wa.

I'm a little slow getting to this post, sorry. About a year ago I was shopping B21's and found $23,500-24,500 about the going price. I bought a used one with 400 hrs for $19,000. Found used ones hard to come by and had to do a lot of looking.

The tractor itself has been great. Very strong for its size and capable of a great deal of work. Send me a note if I can help you with any questions about B21. Good luck.

While visting my Kubota dealer {and of coarse having cup of coffee also glazing at the new Kubota's} I ask the going price on the B21 HST w/ the front end loader and backhoe.
The cost $30.369.oo /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
L35 HST w/ the front end loader and back hoe.
The cost $38.000.oo to $40.000.oo /w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif
But thats New Hampsire cost w/ no tax also a coffee drinker./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I guess I should pay more attendion to the prices. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Good bad or indifferent, I paid $25,000(27,100 with taxes). This is the best price I could get in this area (Western Washington) I have 22 hours on it now. I have washed it three time and I run the backhoe with two hands. It's a tuff little tractor.

The only problem I have is; I have only washed my wifes car twice and she has had it for two years. Can I get a three point hitch car washer that wont get dirt on the tractor.

Just purchased a B21 with a 4 in 1 bucket, BT751 Backhoe, A Land Pride post hole digger and Box scraper. Cost $30,000 including the tax. Which leaves me with $40 for a tiltmeter for these hills of northern California

Congratulations' looks like a pretty good deal to me. Let me know how you get along with the 4:1 bucket. Also which box scraper did you get? I have been eyeing on the Land Pride 15 series, not sure what width. I have a B21, TL421 FEL and the BT751 backhoe. What made you go with the B21?

Nice tractor! Not a bad price, with the 4-in-1, etc... let us know how you like it! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I got the B21 because it seemed to have the right balance of serious power and small enuf to fit in small spaces. We have a landscaping business and a bigger unit would be faster in a few instances but usually overkill and or awkward. I got a Kubota because that s what the guy we use to hire owned (retired, I tried to buy it) and all the rental yards use. Havn't heard anything but great reviews.
With all of seven hours on it I'm still grinning.

I am seriously considering the B21, but I am wondering, with only 13.5 PTO hp, can it cut tall, heavy weeds with a 4' rotary cutter? Mark V , Al, and Twinkle Toes, I would appreciate hearing about any experiences you may have with the B21 and a rotary cutter. Thanks for responding!

omg,

I (Twinkle Toes A.K.A. Al_wa) don't have a rotary cutter or a clue to the answer to your question. Maybe MarkV can help. I would suggest looking and asking the same question for a similar PTO tractor like the B2400(12.5HP) I would guess you wouldn't have a problem with a 48" cutter but bigger I just don't know. Someone on this board will be able to help and give you a good answer so be persistent. I went with the B21 for the tuff backhoe and haven't been disappointed.

omg, I'm not Mark V, Al, or Twinkle Toes, but I've cut up to 2" saplings, and grass and weeds higher than the tractor hood, with a 4' Bush Hog rotary cutter behind a B7100 and it didn't have the power of a B21.

omg,

Sorry I can not tell you about rotary cutter use, I don't have anything level enough to mow on my mountain./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I will say that others on the forum have shared information on cutting with tractors in this size range and I am sure it would handle it. I do use a 6' blade, 5' box, 3pt log splitter with no problem.

Brady, are you a dealer that sells to other states and deliver like Carter for the B21's?
