B series collection system without bracket?

I havent seen one in person but based on my reading the grass collection system for the B series (and BX) requires some sort of frame mounted bracket to mount to. Is this in addition to the 3PH or instead of?

And is there any reason why they dont just have it mount to the 3ph? Has anyone successfully modifies their collection system to just mount to the 3ph? What was involved?

The newer BX's have a frame mounted bracket, the 3pt is entirely removed. I assume that it was designed this way to eliminate possible 3pt sag. The earlier Bx's were mounted to the 3pt and I understand that it was a bear to mount the bagger.
