I have a B-6100D Kubota that I am becoming more familar with every day, but I am needing some assistance. I put new R4 tires on the back and an pulling my landscape rake around and on any turn the 3pt shifts and rubs on the tires. First off, I don't have the manual and am really not sure what adjustments can be made. I am also not sure the lift arm are put on properly or even the right ones. The lift arms I have are straight and from the pictures I have seen they should be curved.

Could someone help me by posting a good quality picture of the 3pt connection on their similar model?

Thanks

I found this picture of a 1980 B6100 on Tractorhouse.com. Looks like the arms arm straight. Sounds to me like you need to tighten your chains that keep the arms from swinging side to side.

Yes, the arms do look straight in that picture. I wish the picture was a bit closer up so I can see a bit more detail on how the arms connect to the tractor and if the collar device "thingy" is outside or inside of the arm.

I'm not at my place of residence right now, but when I return Monday and you haven't receive a answer I will go and take a picture for you. Don't forget there are two aligning rods on either side that you use to center the attachment and then you use the locking nuts to hold it in place. If this isn't done they can move side to side and hit the tires and /or tire depending if both are not aligned or just one. :)

Not sure if this picture might help. The strap obscures it a little

I have some excellent pictures that I just took as I'm back to the home residence, BUT, as you can see it is a large but, I have no idea how to attach them. Guess I'll go and see if you have a PM and send them to you that way. :)

The lift arms on mine don't appear to be the same as some of the pictures posted. I have hopefully attached a picture of my B6100 to see the difference.

HI,, from your last picture, it is the same as my B7100 set up. the linkages / check brackets are in the same/correct position as mine . All you should need to do is mount your implement on the 3 point linkage and then tighten both turnbuckles in the middle of the linkage to shorten the length of the check linkage and this should then hold the implement tight into the middle part of the tractor. It may be that they are tightened so that the implement is one sided so that it can rub onthe wheel. If this is the case you need to lengthen the linkage ( via the turnbuckle) nearest to the wheel it is rubbing on and then shorten the other linkage ( via the turnbuckle) which should then centralise the implement. The turnbuckles have on r/h thread at one end and a l/h thread at the other so that both screws either screw in or out at the same time. It can also help to make sure that the screws are equally spaced in the turnbuckle. If they are not you may run out of thread on one end of the screw thread whilst leaving lots of thread on the other.

I hope this helps
