I killed one just about every year during the HAM season but none were wasted my Mexican friends would make Chorizo out of them ,they said no indigestion like the stuff made from pork.

The drive and gate looks good . So soon going to start building the house foundation.

I was busy grading this past weekend, but I found time to get a coat of blue paint on the gates. Next trip I'll do some red.

i put several strips of DOT tape on both sides of my gate. Don't want it hard to see with different lighting and backgrounds.

Reflective tape may fit into it eventually, but the plan is to turn the gates into flags. The left gate will be the American flag and the right gate will be the Arizona flag.

Mr Fuller that building permit must of been completed by now. So soon going to start the foundation then putting up the logs. They will have to be lighter with a year of drying out.
Are you going to take some off the top and bottom of log so will fit tighter?

Finally made it to the Ranch today. I've been traveling a lot at work so I haven't been here in a month. Tomorrow I'm having a 700 pound gun safe delivered.
I finally got all of my details finished up for the building permit and hope to submit everything next Wednesday.
I forgot to turn off the pump switch when I left a month ago. When I got here I could hear my water pump running but the tank was empty. It must have been running for days. I quickly filled the water holding tank and it actually pumps water to the sinks! But when I turn off the water the pump runs for about 15 seconds before it shuts off. It use to be 1 or 2 seconds. I guess I need to replace it soon.

Glad to hear you are getting closer to the permit. Sucks about the pump. I found out the furnace at our farm is shot. Oh well. Good luck.
