aux. foot pedal

My case 1845 c has an aux. pedal for attatchments. for some reason it is very sensitive while operating the machine under normal use. I find myself having to keep hitting the pedal to keep it off. simple bumps on the job site or working the machine coursely seem to activate the aux. pedal. I know when it has happened because my hydraulics on the loader don't respond correctly. Is there something I can do to help correct this issue?
