Thats a fair question. Kubota really does not sink money into the seat on many of their tractors. Its defentialy a product worthy of a nice seat!

The markup (From a dealer & Kubota) is much higher over the parts counter than it is though the wholegoods Dept. MSRP on that seat from wholegoods is $360. You'd probably have to be charged the UPS fee's as well.

That brought the front of the seat up 1-1/2", leveled the seat right out for me & made it more comfortable. Cheaper than buying a $300.00 seat and didn't have to mess with any wiring for the safety switches under the seat. Took 15 minutes to fix
