Attachment kick stand

I wasn't sure what else to call them. I found these a my local trailer parts store. I paid $35 for a pair. I bought them for a different project that didn't work out. I had been looking for a good way to make stands for some of my attachments. These fold up out of the way. They lock in either position. When they are down they extend from 12" to 19" . If you look on ebay under stabilizer jacks they make them in different lengths.

Does that have a spring latch to hold it up? I had made one for my BB and while grading the blade jumped, jack folded down and it ripped off. Back to using a 4x4 block I would hope yours has a good latch (it is intended for trailer use) but the motion of a rear blade can be a lot more violent than a trailer tongue.

I now make them with a through pin - can get dislodged.

my jb batwing mower ha sthe lil round nub for a trailer jack on it, so you can swing it up and back when needed.. nice deal...

Nice job:thumbsup:. I've used trailer tongue jacks for the same purpose.
