ASV SR80 video WOW!

HANSONDIRTMAN: You seem to know these ASV models well. Is there better
torque in second speed on the new PT 80..?

The PT-80 and the MP1 SR-80 (and later model MP2's apparantly) are a little slower in high, which should translate to more torque.

The mp1 was the first SR80 cab config and the mp2 is the most recent design
which has more room is that right..? Also has anybody actually run the PT80 and found the torque helpful vs the sr80..?

The MP2 came out before the MP1. The MP1 is wider and is the more recent design for the SR80 cab, and I believe the PT-80 cab improved the MP1 design. I hear it is more rigid.

jmf: Thanks again for all your help and insight during the 6 plus months it took
me to actually buy the machine. I just need the suspension seat vs fixed and
I'm good to go. I did go with Valby rotating grapple for more effective wood
management and will gladly take your lead on snow removal if you have jumped that fence. I'm still running high flo blower vs snow blade through the
empty sponge called my brain.

Anyone see the new pixar movie Wall E? Just got back from taking my girls to see it...

All I could think about was that Wall-e's track system looked a lot like an ASV SR-80...

Even my 9 yr old said "hey, that looks like your ASV..." Clearly I'm raising them well...

millpond, how is your asv working out? i'm looking seriously at pt-80's for logging & snow removal. any advice? how about your valby grapple? i have a ryan 4848 with a 12k winch. it's great on slopes for dragging old soldiers uphill to be processed. let me know what you think. thanks

With a 2300# mulching head, Gaurds for protection and a 1600# winch attached. There would not be a video to watch. Unless you wanted to view the ASV being pulled out.
