Roy, the tractors I was looking at were larger utility tractors. Thats why the 45xx series having a 70amp alternator would not surprise me at all.

Talked to the people at A&J Manufacturing to see how many amps. the 850 Model drew ( the 2 light )and he said only 8 amps. I ordered a set today,and plan to install inside the ROPS on the top rail.

According to the JD service manual the 4210, 4310 and 4410 have a 40A alternator while the euro versions have a 55A alternator.

I would mount them on a rotating bar and attach the bar with magnets to the rear edge of the ROPS top rail.

That would really be nice, but given that many CUTs only have 15 amp alternators , it may tax the alternator and battery to add that much amperage.

Why not just take the low amp alternator to a company that rebuilds them and rebuild it with an ampherage up grade?

W have a company here that does nothing but rebuilds alternators starters & generators !

It's never cost me over 60 bucks.Usually It's between 35 and 60 dollars.

Well i finally got my light bar installed . This thing is awsome,very bright,and really compliments the tractor.I took the tractor to the dealer to get him to tie it into the fuse box,and to install a block heater.I'll try to get some pictures for ya soon.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow,that's the easy part ,getting them to post is another story.I was hoping one of my boys would be home this weekend to help me out ( not )All i can do is try.
