Has anybody run a AFE disc mulcher? We are considering purchasing one and was wanting some opinions on them. We are needing something to do some precomercial thinning on a track of land that we purchased in Oregon. Just had some of it done on contract and cost upwards of 600.00/acre. We have several thousand acres that need to be thinned to Oregons specs. At 600.00/acre I could purchase several machines and pay operators and still come out ahead. Considering purchasing one and running it ourselves. I'm new to the forum and was seeking your opinions.
