Anyone have a MechMaxx 3-pt stump grinder?

I ordered one, my email address was wrong, fat fingers I guess. The next day they called me to confirm info. Fedex emailed to schedule a delivery day/time. Start to finish, under 3 weeks, if all goes as planed.

Mine arrived yesterday, 8-Aug, uncrated it. Now I need to finish up the work I am doing with my backhoe so can get the BH removed and the grinder installed to check it out. Probably won't be for a week or two.

Got mine last Friday as scheduled. Two hours to un-assemble the crate and put the chip guard, chainsaw bracket, adjust the clutch and put the PTO on. I've already ground a few stumps. Easily the best money I've spent in a long time. Time will tell, but I think this will do everything I need, (20 - 30 stumps/yr).

Well for one thing it lets you get about 2" closer to say a building if your grinding a stump that's close to a wall etc.

I have a Woodland Mills grinder and I thought about adding a hose so that the rear bearing was easier to grease. The more I thought about it I realized that I really don't need to grease that bearing very often. It's good the way it is.

I've taken care of a 3 stumps already. How do you prevent the tractor from stalling? The stump grinder would shake like crazy and engine would stall when I'm taking too much of a bite. Do I adjust the slip clutch so it slips more?

make sure your at full pto rated speed. and you need to slow down and take lesser of a bite, and yes back the bolts out more to make sure clutch slips
