Nah not really. Did you fully unbox and assemble it? Sounds like a fun project for a couple evenings in the shop to me.
no still in crate, removed the pto, I had a pile of other stuff in front of this project that I am working through.

My Woodland Mills unit pretty much worked just like you see in their videos, no real surprises. I will say that the slip clutch slipped a LOT when adjusted as specified in the owner's manual. So I wound up giving all the bolts another quarter turn, which helped that situation some.

Has anyone taken the time to look at the latest version of the Woodland Mills stump grinder?

The WG28 pro stump grinder has some very good improvements worth having even at the higher cost.

I do like the chain deflector. The shock absorber and angle indicator is ok I guess, but it's easy enough for me to see the angle.
The overall weight and larger diameter rotor are certainly performance oriented.

I looked at the WG24 and can’t see any difference between it and the Mechmaxx. What am I missing?
