Best saw I have bought is a Skil Wormdrive. Works great.

The Skil 77 has been the go-to contractor saw for over 40 years. Once you could get a comparable saw from DeWalt. I don't know if they still make it. For conventional circular saws, Porter-Cable is the best I have ever used.
First wormdrive I had was Skil 8 1/4". They still make it as well as a 10 1/4" wormdrive for 4" lumber.
I love my Skil worm drive. Its Narrow. The extra length is great when bending over ripping a 4x8 sheet of plywood. They have a slip type clutch because the toque of these things will handle a 10 1/4" as built or with a big foot conversion.Best saw I have bought is a Skil Wormdrive. Works great.
