I was thinking with a dump trailer you might get alot of negative tongue weight. JC

Look closely at your class 5 hitch. It should have a weight rating stamped on it or a tag stating weight with and without a weight distribution hitch. Of course that rating is what the hitch / receiver is capable of and may not reflect what your truck can haul. Standard hitche sizes are usually 1 7/8", 2", 2 5/16", and pintle type that will slide into your receiver.
