Thanks...Had to put $400.00 worth of load range E's on the front of it due to a dryrot crack.

As I said, the mainifolds need replaced and the fuel rail looks so-so, but I'm assuming some light surface rust and slight oxidation on the rail is normal?

Well bought it today and drive it straight from the previous owners to the limestone mine for the winter...Ran really well, except a rear brake must have dragged due to lack of use...Man did that stink...It seems to have cleared itself up as I went another 20 miles with no issues. Hopefully that doesn't haunt me in the spring, fingers crossed on that one.

Have to go back to the notary though..Didn't know that you can't get a plate for a MH using an auto insurance card :confused3:...Stupid PA registration laws, if I have car insurance isn't that enough?...It's just a big car after all....

Have to get the specific policy and go back to the notary now...:(:

Timswi, I have been driving a Ford V10 for the last 13 years and have come to appreciate their simplicity and power. They are relatively efficient, but not diesel efficient.

The factory programming leaves a little to be desired if you want to optimize it (including the transmission functions). I have bought a programmer for my last 2 trucks from Mike at 5 Star tuning. It really makes a noticeable improvement in BOTH power and efficiency. Driveability is better and he will basically customize the tune to whatever you want.

I have no affiliations with the guy. He just offers a great product and even better customer service. He is very popular on the V10 forum I frequent.

If you are like me and like to modify things this is money well spent.

I seem to remember some having problems with water leaking on the coil packs on the right side and causing them to fail. ????

That's what this MH is --F450 SD V10...It does move this tank around pretty good and you're right, it is pretty quiet. This is coming from a hardcore GM guy.
