Hello friends,

As you know, Kioti FEL's come w/ a Bobcat style quick attach. I got a some pallet forks for free from a contractor friend I have given a bunch of work to, a mounting plate from skidsteer express, and a neighbor friend welded on the side ears and center reinforcement. A piece of scrap 1-11/16" solid bar goes through the ears. Viola! Total cost:

Pallet forks: Free
Mounting plate: $120
Welding & scrap: $100

I'll take detailed pic of the build without a load on it tomorrow (have to finish splitting and stacking the oak first).

Thanks. Here's a more detailed pic for anyone contemplating something like this. Works great.

Thats real nice ... you'll soon wonder why you didn't do it earlier. I use mine all the time ... this week I blew two holes, one in each fork end to put a clevis on and lift from the end with a chain for certain applications.

Very nice. I have a set of forks I need to do the same thing with.

Do the forks slide freely or do you have Allen set screws to lock them in place?

Hi hydro2, and thanks. Currently, they just slide freely (well, the bar isn't greased so they don't slide easily). Notice how there is a hole for a bolt on the top of the forks themselves? I just have to buy the right size fine thread bolt and it will act as a set screw.

blueriver and to_bud, I use it all the time and I've only had it a week!

It looks like you welded some D rings on the side of the mounting plate. Great idea to be able to tie the load to the loader.
