Is it possible to use the 3PH auger on my 2032r to drill an angled post hole? I need to install vineyard end posts 35 deg off vertical.

A pint of Jack Daniels Old Number 7 before starting should make it a certainty.
roposetoast: It's difficult to make angled holes without wallowing them out. Look at methods of building fence braceing then adapt one that look's good to you. My fav is driven T-posts and brace post kit from Tractor Supply Company. It's fast and look's nice in a vineyard.

My favorite method for boring angled holes is to try to drill a straight one! Seriously, folks, the cheap 3-point augers are harder to use than hand-held power augers when it comes to putting a hole in straight, or any angle.

I've done it fine. Start straight for about a foot the drive tractor forward for desired angle then proceed. May need to back the tractor up to get desired depth.

The way I put my end posts in, was to dig a larger than needed hole straight down. When you pull the post back so it hits the rim, you will have your angle. Once you find the correct diameter hole, all post will be lined up perfectly.
On another note, I waited a few weeks before adding the support wires, allowing the end post fill to settle and harden. Also, you can use a gas powered one man post hole digger to sink the anchors, saves a lot of hard labor.

Yeah, as others have already said, most of mine came out angled. I would think you could intentionally angle it as you want by being in-line with the angle. The auger is free to pivot front/back but not so much side to side.

I have to be very careful to keep from drilling angled post holes and even then, they don't all come out that way. I'm not sure about 35° though.
