Question,
Have any of you shot or loaded fleshets (spelling ?) in a shot gun???

22s are cheap at lest they were. Now what fun to shoot is my 45/70 I can load that soft as a 22 or shoulder hurting.

Well, I did it............joined the NRA..........and I hate to "join" anything. My son was at Cabela's today and saw a very busy ammo counter. He stocked up. Maybe I'll buy another weapon just to keep up with the times.....that Fllintlock and black powder is getting outdated.:D

I was actually thinking of using a gander mountain gift card to get more black powder and round balls, you mean there's something better than the old flintlock?

The wife and I used to shoot between 500 and 1000 about every week. It goes really quick.

Heck even when we go out shooting black powder, we will send about 300-350 balls down range o'er day.

That's one reason why I don't have a simi-auto firearm, fun to shoot, but a 100rds is nothing. When my younger son brings his ak something something over, puts a clip in, shooting at a rolling tire off a bank, it can really spit the shells out, expensive and fun at the same time. If I could afford a semi-auto, I'd get a 20ga for shooting skeet, I think moving targets are more fun to shoot at then a steel plate.

And what is the fascination with 22s, shoot a tin can, it knocks over, glass bottle it breaks, block of wood makes small hole, steel plate makes a ping. Do the same with a 45 colt, 357, 38, 12-20ga, blows everything to smithereens and timbuktoo, that's what I'm talking about more bang for the buck.....

You certainly dont have to have a semi auto to shoot hundreds of rounds st a range outting.

Me and a couple finds used to grab 250 rounds of 12 ga shoot and a pack of 90-120 clays and a hand thrower and go off in the woods and blast off a couple hundred rounds with pump shotguns like it was nothing, after work.

Lately I've been shooting 15+ cylinders thru my black powder revolver, with my buddies all doing the same. Not to mention musket and rifle fire. When we unload at the line it is a wall of smoke!
