Amazon Stuff That Doesn't Suck

Do you think it's powerful enough to drive something similar to a t post in the ground if you modded one of the bits to use it like a pile
driver? Used on ground with few rocks?
Reason I'm asking I've used smaller sds demo hammers with a small piece of pipe welded on end to drive 8' grounding rods but a sds is definitely to small for anything bigger than that.
perhaps.... I have a makita 2'' sds max hammer drill and it's more powerful than it .
Only issue I see is. it would be difficult to hold it on top of a T post and it's a good bit larger than mu 2'' sds max makita demo hammer drill.
I have used it to break up rock to put in corner post for fencing

This is the sds max drill I have 2" AVT SDS-Max Rotary HammerDefault Title

We use it quite a bit. We seem to travel, a lot, these days. So if I'm on a business trip, I order stuff so I have it when I get back. It's not just amazon, i do most of my shopping on line. I get what I want and I don't settle. The reoccurring order on Amazon is sweet...set it and forget it.

The best thing I found on amazon is this stuff. I have no experience using it as a stop leak, but I have used it as a rubber conditioner. I spray it on things like IFS CV boots on side by sides and trucks. Door seals sprayed with stuff will keep them nice and supple. Anything rubber, this stuff will work.

So it makes a hard plastic cv boot more pliable?

Yep Ive used a step ladder, or if I can the bed of truck to get some altitude. About how much does it weigh? that price is amazing even for some off brand imo.

Not sure of the weight. I don't know if it's in the specs or not.
I have run it off my 3500 watt generator out in the pasture for breaking up rock for corner fence post. I have the other attachments (bits) with mine, so I paid a little more

You all know that it's impossible to get 3500 watts out of a 110 outlet right? Max is about 1500 watts, 2 hp. Anything more is a lie.

I used a little bit of this stuff in the power steering pump on the F-350 snow plow. It sealed the leak that I have been fighting for over 10 years. This is the very first chemical that has actually done what it was advertised to do. I was impressed

It makes rubber more pliable, I don't know about hard plastic. My cv boots are rubber.

Another good use is hoses, coolant etc.

Amazon basic stuff I've gotten has been great. It's only electronics which I've gotten some inexpensive garbage, but what do you expect from a $30 trail cam where they will send you a free replacement? Just learn to read the reviews. Read both good and bad ones. Learn to recognize the ones that are fake or written to receive something for free.

Glomming off the Harbor Freight thread, this one is for products you bought from Amazon that work(s) as expected, or better. Feel free to start a thread for stuff that does suck if you are so inclined. This is not for railing against the company itself, their policies, practices, shipping or customer service. There are a number of other threads on those issues.

For openers, this little doohickey:

Handheld Vacuum Cordless Rechargeable,LAVEDGE 9Kpa Wet&Dry Powerful Suction Hand Vacuum,Mini Vacuum Cleaner with Replaceable HEPA Filter,Power Display Hand held Vacuuming for Home,Office,Car

Sort of a more modern version of the old Dustbuster. Reasonably powerful for the size. Has an add-on snout for reaching into small areas, a hose if you need it and a spare filter. I've been cleaning out some cabinets and cubby holes and it got to the far back corners fine. Sure beats digging out the bigger vacuums you have to plug in. Can't say much about durability since I just got it yesterday, but for $30, you don't expect too much. Main thing I don't like so far is that the bottom doesn't have any flat spots so it rolls over when you set it down. I might end up gluing a small piece of something to it once I know I won't have to return it.
Boy that vacuum really sucks. I bet it just gathers dust.

We buy a lot from Amazon. Pretty much weekly. Everything from shoes, to tools, to dog food. Why drive to the store just to find out they don’t have what we need? Most things are delivered 2nd day. Bought a set of tires for my UTV, they came the next day. And anything that doesn’t pan out you take to a UPS store and hand it to them, no box required, and get an immediate refund.

These have been great consumable 4.5" cut off wheels bought 50 of them from Amazon, much less than HF wheels, never had one blow apart on me and last pretty long.

I bought my Titan Backhoe thumb and am happy with it.
Also some bits, from Dewalt etc. and that worked well.

I have seen some "substitutions" with fake parts. So need to be aware of those scams.

Even bought a reconditioned iPhone for my son which has worked out well.

If that's what they mean by "Free Returns" I had no idea it was that streamlined. Buying clothes online is hit and miss. This would help.

Kohls is also a place to drop off Amazon returns..

Put an interior door up between two rooms so I could block one off and not heat/cool if I didn't want to. Started looking for a passage set with levers. Stores all wanted more than I wanted to pay for such occasional use.
A bit OT, but I never liked the lever doorknobs. Always seem to catch a sleeve, pocket, belt loop, etc. on them.

My cat loved them.. Had to actually lock the door if you wanted to keep him out :)

Amazon is just a retailer, not manufacturing much of anything.

Harbor Freight is completely different. They are a company engaged in manufacturing a lot of affordable tools in China, then selling them everywhere, through stores or on line.

Imo some of the stuff they sell is rebranded made in the same or similar factories that manufactures HF. HF uses specific brand names Amazon seems to sell whatever the name manufacturers feel like printing on there stuff, in any case your not buying the name your buying it cause it's cheaper in most cases. Imo hf you can see what your buying at the store in person to make a decision. Amazon your relying solely on online pics and reviews which aren't always accurate in my experience. fortunately Amazon has a good easy return policy and fast inexpensive shipping even without prime.

Same here! As of late, I've begun to worry about Bears just walking in. Every Spring, we catch them on the back porch rummaging thru the crushed aluminum cans.
