Amazon Stuff That Doesn't Suck

Need a couple of crimp connectors in different sizes.

I can get dressed, drive 20+ miles to town and buy disposable bubble packs of five each for $5 each.

Or ...

I can stay in my jammies, click a couple of links and order an assortment of 300 types and sizes in a reusable compartment storage box for $8 and have them brought to me.

I have had to repair a friends truck that he used some Amazon connectors on, eye terminals that were pretty thin material and fatigued and broke off. I have always bought good quality terminals from Digi-Key, McMaster Carr or Terminal Supply as I only like to repair things once.
I'm sure, like all things Amazon, there is a wide range of qualities available, but I never felt like buying them and discovering they weren't good enough for me to use.

I Always buy the heat shrink terminals then I usually put heat shrink over the heat shrink terminals. I also always Do a 5-7 lb pull test on the new connection. .

Depends on how soon you need them. If you can afford to wait a week then by all means order online. If you need them today, better get dressed...

This is my experience as well. The terminals that I have bought from McMaster, Digikey, DelCity, West Marine have been solid, quality terminals. Most of the Amazon terminals that I have bought seem light lightweight and soft/flimsy. I bought some Amazon bulk refills in large jars that seem ok. YMMV.

You really have to do your due diligence when buying anything on Amazon. That said I'm a big fan. Read the fine print and the reviews... then submit some reviews, help the next guy out

I am noticing a whole lot of pictures like that over the last year or so. It must be either the minimum wage new hire taking promotional pictures, or someone behind a keyboard doing AI generated garbage.
A recent photo I thought was hilarious was a home water filtration system being showcased on the outside of a house with leaves and snow neatly arranged around the filters. That one was clearly a failed AI.
