Alternator and starter

I see three pages for Yanmar. Is there one specific model starter that is the right one for YM1900?

Each starter tells what model it fits. I used the one for the YM2000/YM1700 since the YM1900 is about 90% the same as a 2000. The part number it says it fits is the same part number in my manual.

I tried running 90% biodiesel a couple of years ago and had a heck of a time getting the thing started. Maybe a faster starter would light that stuff better.

I just know it made a big difference starting mine. Now I just hop on, hit the key and it starts. Doesn't seem to be as hard on the battery either. Then again, I put a new alternator on and that probably helps too.
