Almost made a huge mistake!

Recently found the model we wanted at a dealer a distance from us but it was well priced!
Did our financing and were approved
Salesman wanted us to sign before we seen the machine. SAID NOPE!
Took a ride today to look at machine! Houston we have a problem!
The backhoe is a 2014 been sitting for a while the bottom caps of every cylinder are rusty!
The control plate is rusted the seams on the box are rusty and paint is worn off in the area of handles OBVIOUSLY USED!

The tractor we have not seen the hours yet were locked up!
Paint was scratched all over brush guard
Hydraulic cylinders had spots of thinner marks
The loader arms were rusted from water sitting at the point closest to the base of the cab

We are going to pass on this the price difference between this unit and brand new is enough but not going to brake the bank!

Lastly the dealership only had 2 units on the lot both older!

What model were you looking at? If you don't mind me asking where was the dealer locate?

I WAS looking at an xr3135HC I was looking on the NY PA line as I have some properties I manage up there.

How did you make out at the other dealer? They have treated me great. I bought 2 tractors from them and a few other things.

Signed papers tonight! Will be the proud owner soon of
XR 4145HC. Just ordered today and will see it around end of month!

I have s few family pieces of land not a lot just a hassle!
I own a repair business and have a ton of snow to clear in the winter! Odd parking lot set up requires lots if loader work for removal!
Although I figure we won't have snow for 2 years now that we ordered this unit

Last year, down here......was a bad winter if your in the plowing business. I got out 1 time and that was it. Worst winter since I began plowing over 10 years ago.

Oddly, 2 winters ago was the best. Made Twice as much as any winter before it. So I guess getting a goose egg last winter still averages out

I know what your saying, last winter was mild here also, year before was a *&(( we had a few quick dump storms and they were a pain, Hope I can get decent seat time this winter!
