<font color="blue"> Maybe some people can spew venom one day and play nice the next? </font>

I've had the occasional run-in with a few members one day and been cordial the next. It happens. For what reason, I do not know. Difference of opinion, moral high/low ground, human nature, my immaturity, who knows?? /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Let it go. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

<font color="blue">As soon as I started posting I was identified as a “Lurker” </font>

Moderators have no control over that function of TBN.

EDIT: OOPS! Looks like Mike and Bird beat me to it. I humbly bow to their quickness... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( Personally, I would like to see inline images banned. That said, I can't find any rules against them. What I can find are instructions in the FAQ on how to place them in your posts:)</font>

Yep, on SnowRidge and beenthere,

Having moved and lost cable access I have tried dial-up.
Having dial-up, I no longer read and post from home.

It is a horrible fate to know TBN is moving along without me...

There is a setting in your profile that asks: View user's pictures with their posts?

If this is set to NO, I think the software should convert inline images to a link instead -- but it doesn't. What exactly does this question do on this forum? Anyone?

If you turn that off, it turns your little avatar pictures off there on the left - at least when reading in flat mode. I was just able to turn your picture off.

Ok,

Now, these two questions:

View other user's pictures in their profile?
View user's pictures with their posts?

Maybe these could be lumped together and cause both to happen with a YES/NO, and a new question could be made to convert inline images to links. This would then keep the same database format and only the code to do this would have to be written.

Thoughts?
