It's a safe bet that no Amusement Park in The United States offers a ride that can match the thrill of that ride.

Viewing it in full screen is about as brave as I will get (but I did it twice).

I thought about posting it in "Build-It Yourself."

It's a lot of fun... most cost about $5 a ride... you can get a better deal with a 10 or 20 ride pass.

The lever between the knees is a rudimentary brake... pulling back presses a small plastic block against the rail... it won't stop on a dime... it will slow you a little... and give you something to hold on to!!!

Looks exceedingly dangerous, but I suppose they can't lose too many people...still, I couldn't stop thinking about a wildlife collision. Suddenly even a squirrel could become a lethal weapon.

I watched another video of it where a guy is videoing from one coaster as his kid goes down ahead of him. Toward the bottom of the run, he turns the camera left to look at some horses grazing very near the rail.

See the horses at about the 5 minute mark. There's a black cow and more horses at 5:12. I'd rather take a squirrel.

I can't get the original video to play worth a hoot on my @#$%^ing HughesNet...

Looks pretty flipping awesome!

Too bad I need to go to Europe to ride it...

This reminds me of the way cog railway employees used to get down from the top of Mt. Washington here in NH:

"Devil's shingle:Since the early days of the railway's construction the workers wanted to minimize time when climbing and descending the ramp, so they invented slideboards fitting over the cog rack and providing enough room for themselves and their tools. These boards no two were exactly alike were approximately 90 cm (35 in) long by 25 cm (9.8 in) wide, made of wood with hand-forged iron and with two long hardwood handles usually attached at the down-mountain end. Common times for the descent of the mountain using these boards were about 15 minutes. The record was 2:45, an average speed above 100 km/h (62 mph).[1]

The "Devil's shingles" were banned in 1906 after the accidental death of an employee."
