Perhaps how do you define enough states? To draw an analogy, how many states are required to radify a constitutional amendment? Is it two thirds or three quarters? Look at the map of approving states, when it surpases 50 percent, I believe more traction will be applied. If it just the populist vote that determines a president. The two coasts do not speak for the entire country, thank GOD for the electoral college, and blame Jefferson for excluding a pot provision in the Bill of Rights. And very progressive NY is not yet on board!!!! A big void.
