Ajustments for 647 tiller

Got the 647 today and noticed to get it low enough to engage the ground, I had to adjust the draft links to outermost hole and the lift links to the lowest holes. Is that normal? Even with those settings I wish I could get it lower. Not to till deeper but to engage low lying corners of my garden. I'm going to do some more reasearch online on the many adjustments of the 3 point hitch, since I am a tractor newbie. I need a tractor for dummies book.

Yes barely. I've only made about 12 passes, and am still learning the ins and outs of the tractor tilling. But after making a pass I see no tire tracks. Joe
