I have a 647 rotary tiller. I run it on a JD 2305, and it does a fantastic job.

I have some questions. Is this model supposed to come with the adjustable skid shoes, or are they an option?

also, I shorten my upper 3pt arm as much as possible, but it won’t quite bring the tiller to level. Is this an issue? It appears that the tillers lower brackets (that connect to the 3pt draft arms) can be mounted offset 45 degrees. See attached pic). It would require new square u bolts. (For lack of a better term)

the adjustable skid shoes are standard equipment. if they aren't on, the ground friction will wear the body out quickly.

The original top link on the 2305's was a little long for some applications. Go to your local farm store and buy one that is 2 or 3 inches shorter.
