Air Seat Questions

I've found a lot of good information here by searching the topic but little about whether a good air seat is actually worth the +/- $1000 price tag. Like many other Kubota owners, over the years, I've found the factory seats on the three B and L series tractors I've owned to be less than satisfactory. I was hoping the seat on the new MX5800 would be an improvement but sadly, no. With my age and bad back, its come to the point that I dread mowing season since I'm doomed to a summer of back pain. I mow 12 acres of mostly uneven ground, some using a 3 pt mower and some a brushog. By the end of the day, I can hardly walk straight after getting off the tractor. I don't mind spending the $$ if an air seat will really help. I would value the opinions of others here and also any recommendations on a seat that would fit my MX. Thanks in advance for any advice.

I also have back problems and found my OEM seat to be very uncomfortable, so I added a Grammar MSG 93 - 721 and it was worth every penny of the $1200+.

I have a thread on just about every air seat you can think of (in the 4" travel type). I ended up with a Milsco V5400 air seat after trying and rejecting a Grammer air seat.

I got my new L4060 hstc with the air ride seat. Upgraded from a L3200 with the stock seat. I like the air ride, definitely takes the shock out of the bouncing. I have a bad back as well. Herniated disk L5 - S1, on painkillers while avoiding surgery for as long as possible.

$1k seems a bit absurd for a seat but I'd do it over again.

My only real problem is the right armrest has hit the PTO button a few times when bouncing on rough stuff. Annoyingly killing the mower or what not briefly.
