Over the weekend, I drained and changed all hydraulic oil and filters in my "Bota... no problems, but afterwards, my FEL has a light shudder when lifting.. My question is.. did I get air in the system that's causing this? Do I live with it until the air dissipates? Will it dissipate?

Just work the cylinders in both directions to the limits and hold against the relief a few seconds. Let the fluid warm up and it will work faster.

It will eventually work itself out.

Be sure to recheck your fluid level after a bit and after working out the air.

Just be mindful for the first bit until the air works out. You can get an unexpected lack of power or even a cylinder movement when you have air in the cylinder.

Hope this helps!

Hello
You also may be sucking air at the filter gasket.
On an open center hyd. sys., if you let it run a few minutes there won't
be an air problem.
