Howdy y'all.

I don't know which forum this should be in...

I know very little about air compressors, so I'm not even sure what I need.

Obviously, I'll be using it for tractor tires, but also for truck and trailer tires with pressures up to 70 psi.
I'm also looking to run a few air tools, cutoff tool, air hammer, etc.
It needs to be mobile (on wheels).
Maybe a 10 gallon tank.

I don't know anything about the different brands either.

I'd appreciate y'all's thoughts and suggestions.

At most pawn shops you can find both cheapo and name brand "pancake" (tank) compressors for less than $100.00...most are capable of general shop and light construction air needs...

Air tools are real hogs, especially die grinders and cutoff tools. It would depend if you have only 110v or 220v available, and if portability is required. Craigslist is full of compressors, and I saw a Sears 22 gallon unit for $150 at a garage sale today. If you can use 220, I'd definitely go that route as they run easier and last longer that way, most of the 20 gallon size can be wired for either.
