That's true too. It's become a catch all term.

Of concern for me is when one uses people and their biases, that provide the initial framework for smart systems. An example, I have a camera that recognizes if a vehicle, pet, person etc is in the frame. All of the initial information was provided by people saying what was in the frame.

Most of the programs/systems that are called AI really aren't but they still call them AI...This includes programs that write term papers etc...they really just use algorithms with user input variable values...they (the systems) don't really "learn" anything...!

I've been looking at some of the "AI" created art that is supposed to be based on lyrics to well know songs. Its the same artwork across many songs. I call shenanigans on this!
