Agco Allis SAME parts

Good afternoon.

Well I think I made a mistake and bought a SAME built Agco Allis. The tractor itself is in excellent shape...except she is burning oil and I have struck out trying to find and rebuild parts for a SAME.

I tied my local duetz dealers and no help they sent me to my local Agco dealer which as well was no help. I even emailed SAME as well and no response. I have mechanic that would do the work but can't find the parts for a rebuild.

Acgoparts has the parts numbers, I just can't find a supplier.

Anybody know anyone I can reach out to or had any luck purchasing.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thanks for the reply, I have looked here and the parts are limited. They don't cover the major engine components. At least I was not able to find them on the parts pages.

I have contacted my Agco dealer and they were no help. The machine is burning oil so I believe it likely is time for an overhaul. I am not a diesel mechanic but would assume an overall kit, sleeve, piston, rings........

Its a 5680 1995 model SR 1510. The serial tag on the engine is damaged but it has the SAME SLH 1000.4A engine the number I can read on the tag is 37378.

I have a SAME, and Deutz took them over. I work through my local Deutz dealer and can find any part I need ($$$). Perhaps being an Agco label throws them off. I would think if you work with the engine model you could relate it to the corresponding Same machine having that engine, and find the parts. Or keep going through the Agco route. Deutz should be the ticket, although you may have to find a dealer to work with and dig into the parts manuals.

Be careful how quickly you assume oil consumption means complete overhaul.
Might need something simpler like valve guide seals.

You don’t need any parts to do a compression test. Thats what I’d be doing first.
