Aerial photo

I did some research at our local University Library and found aerial photos of our property dating back to 1937. I've included a pretty good aerial from 1950 and another from 1999. It is absolutely amazing at how much the farm has changed in the past 50 some odd years.

We acquired the property in 1980, which is right before they started building all the subdivisions around us. I only wish we could have afforded to keep the entire plantation intact.

My house is 2 miles down the road. My original plans of moving to this property will not happen. After the first of the year, I will be putting it up for sale, along with my tractor/mower and Bobcat skidsteer. The good news is that I will probably sell this property for close to double what I paid for it.
