Debushau, congrats on your Simplicity! I looked for used ones myself and found two but they were both gone before I had a chance to do anything so I ended up with a new Simplicity Conquest. It is new but it's a 2010 leftover so I got it at dealer cost, saved over $800. It is built like a tank and has the Briggs Vanguard motor like yours which is awesome (especially if it is a v-twin, those are made by Diahatsu in Japan). It cuts like a dream! I know lots of folks like Kohler engines but I have had bad luck with them so for me the Briggs Vanguard is what I wanted (or a Kawasaki).

Sounds like you got a good deal, I'm sure it will serve you well!

I was pleased with the price and condition of the Sunstar so I jumped on it. Doesn't even need paint really. Would love to find a snowblower attachment for winter, rather than the snowblade.

Now all we need is a few pics of this Sunstar:)
